Metadata Wizard

Sharable Content Object Reference Model (SCORM) has become a conventional model adopted in distance learning. Although the most significant characteristics of SCORM are its shareability and reusability, very few reusable content objects satisfy query condition content mainly due to various complicated metadata standards causing metadata elements to be filled implicitly. To make the content repository searchable, we constructs a Metadata Wizard Framework consisting of a Metadata Wizard and a Deduction Engine to fill in metadata automatically. Metadata for each Content Organization layer are generated automatically by processing the Agents and Rules. The proposed Model not only produces complete of metadata within SCORM specification, but also reduces the total costs of metadata generation.
